When you make peace with yourself, the world begins to open in new ways.
Your inner state shapes how you see, how you listen, how you meet others.
Always make sure to invest in your own wellbeing. Sometimes it might be easier, sometimes harder. And that’s where discipline comes in.

Inner peace is not a coincidence, it’s a practice. Through discipline and consistency, in how you breathe, how you care for your body, how you choose your thoughts & you build the ground on which calm can grow.
Peace becomes less of a rare moment and more of a steady foundation you can return to.

And yes, there will still be moments of anger, rage or sadness. That’s part of being human.
But when you meet those feelings with compassion instead of resistance, they lose their power.
Each challenge becomes an opportunity to soften, to learn and to return once more to your center 🤍

It feels like such a blessing to share another wonderful session with @ChantressSeba and the first one on this channel. A few weeks ago, Gemini, Finn and I met in Slovenia, where we recorded this video, and then continued on to my place in the Black Forest, where we spent some wonderful days together. Days full of meaningful conversation, and the joy of creating alongside each other. There was a beautiful flow of ideas and inspiration, and I feel so grateful for the connection and the shared moments.
We have decided to work on a number of joint projects in the coming year, and I am beyond excited of what 's to come.

When I returned from tour I found this new handpan in my shelf. It’s a scale that I wanted for SO long, and finally my handpan maker had time to build it for me. It’s an iconic old school handpan scale called 'Jibuk' and its structure follows a completely different logic than my usual handpans. I sat down with it and had a hard time feeling it. So I set myself the challenge - to make peace with this instrument and take as much time as necessary, to fully feel it and embrace the sound and vibe.
So I came up with this peace and played it on and on, still with the beautiful memories of my previous tour present in my heart.
This one’s dedicated to all of you - my listeners. I am beyond grateful to live this life and to get the chance to make my living from playing music.
It’s a precious moment and I give thanks to every single one of you 🤍

@ralfvandenbor is not only the maker of my handpans and founder of @AyasaInstruments but also one of my closest friends. Throughout the past 9 years we’ve been shaping this friendship through honest and clear conversations, many shared moments of joy and laughter and also through confrontation and conflicts. There’s barely another person that I have such deep connection with. And barely another person that impacted my life on such a profound level - his handpans accompany me since 2016 and helped me reach the point that I am at now.
Some years ago Ralf discovered a new passion - the piano. He’s so dedicatedly diving into this instrument and it’s astonishing to see his commitment. Night by night he sits all alone on this instruments and his approach to playing piano is the very same that I have to handpan playing - expressing what is there.
This is our first recording in the forest together. I am so incredibly proud of him & grateful. Together we rise. Day by day our journey unfolds 🤍
