Stop Motion made for a university class. Is called Paranoia. Is about a man who gets lost in the woods and starts to get crazy and hear things. I hope you like it.
Credits to: Henry Lozada, Natalie Cruz and José Berrios, my coworkers in this great project.
I would also like to thank Luke Towan for giving me inspirations to do the set. I will leave a link down below to his channel: https://www.youtube.com/channe....l/UCjRkUtHQ774mTg1vr
On 6 October 2018 I re-commenced scenic work on my model railway. Those who endured my first report right to the end will have heard me state that ‘at last the layout was finished!’ However, I soon came to realise that, of course, a model railway, no matter how small, is never actually finished. Following numerous views of YouTube videos from other modellers during my model railway hiatus, it was only a matter of time before the scenic work would continue and these are the results of that work to date.
Thanks for watching.

Part 1 of my layout scenic construction video diary:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brfs9GkmvC8
This is my first attempt at building a micro N scale model RR. The layout is based heavily on information from the YouTube channel "Steves Trains". His channel is excellent for learning how to create a similar setup, if you watch his step by step instructions. His videos for both for the 2 foot diameter setups, and especially his 32 part video series on his 2x3 layout are great learning tools. My pine trees were made from hemp rope and twisted wire, and the leafy trees were wire framed and filled in with Woodland Scenic materials. The signals are controlled with an Arduino Nano processor with infrared sensors at each tunnel entrance. It is a slightly modified version of the arrangement presented on the YouTube channel "DIY & Digital Railroad" in his videos concerning the "Arduino based Block Signal". This is a very good site to learn about the Arduino and how to use it on your RR. I learned about scenery and waterfalls from the "Luke Towan" channel, which has a series of great scenery making videos. The eagles and nest were made with a hand held 3-d printer (like a glue gun with a very fine glue stick). The ponds and initial streams were made with a clear epoxy, then textured with glossy Mod Podge. Thanks to all for the outstanding instructional help!
I incorporated a lot of types of detail in this small layout, because I wanted to learn a bit about each of them. I have never done dioramas, nor train scenery, nor ever used an Arduino processor. Turns out, it is both interesting and relaxing. Thanks to all the YouTubers who have posted how to do it videos on all aspects of model RR. Your info is appreciated.
Who is Hot Spot & Hot Grease? Well, we have a friend here in NH who is through-hiking the 2,200 mile Georgia to Maine Appalachian Trail. His trail name is Hot Grease. His friend from Florida is traveling with him and he has been given the trail name of Hot Spot. If you would like to follow them in their journey north, visit their channel: https://www.youtube.com/channe....l/UC4aWeYdLFNKf0vQC4

I made the pine trees using untwisted pieces of hemp rope and twisted wire using a hand cranked home made twister machine, similar to the powered version shown on this site. The method was the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7Ner_w6LvM
I made the leafy trees using this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JexnWKnc-xI
Once again, thanks to all the YouTube contributors who made it possible for me to be able to construct this train diorama.
Today we continue our Railroad Kits HO Scale Dannen Feeds Build series with part 3. In this video we add glazing to our doors and windows, paint our tarpaper roof, and add trim and a door to the loft area of our kit. Be sure to stay tuned for part 4 next week, the 25th!

In this Episode I go over the planning stage of making the base to my 2017 Gunpla Builders World Cup Diorama.
On the next few episodes I'll go over everything I used, as for my final model I made some changes to what I used here in testing.

In This Shout Out Monday Evening We Are Observing Veterans Day Weekend. The acronym for today is USAF United States Air Force in remembrance of those who we've lost not only in the Air Force, but in all branches of the military everywhere.
This Shout Out goes out to a master in scenery who has inspired me and most likely many model railroaders everywhere who can be identified with Boulder Creek Railroad!

I've received a bunch of questions on how I went about making my Gorechosen board. I'd intended on making a build log but it turns out filming while crafting is difficult and I wasn't happy with the quality of the footage. So I never ended up publishing what I captured but since people have asked, here's what I've got!
I don't know how long it took because I worked on it on-and-off for about three weeks, ballpark figure is 30hrs. But that's just a guess.
It's mostly carved insulation foam, rocks, crushed up bark, sand and painted with P3, GW and Vallejo paints.
All the techniques used to make this were learned from:

Hello everyone,
This is another quick update on slot car track scenery build starting with the support structure for the tunnels, mountains, rolling hills and ultimately the landscaping i.e. rock faces, dirt, grass, bushes, etc.
I primarily use Woodland Scenics materials because their system is simple to use and it works for me:
https://www.youtube.com/channe....l/UC6A6U04TFkaveFmYY
If you're new to scenery and want a great looking track, try "the scenery kit" from Woodland Scenics. This kit will get you familiar with system and a lot of the materials before you attempt to tackle a full layout:
https://woodlandscenics.woodla....ndscenics.com/show/i
This is how I learned the basics
I also recommend checking out Luke Towan channel. This guy is a master scenery creator and has many great videos (thank you Luke for taking the time to share the great content): https://www.youtube.com/channe....l/UCjRkUtHQ774mTg1vr
If anyone out there has questions, has a particular topic they would like me to cover, or would like more detail on anything I've posted, please leave a comment ( I do read all of them).
Remember to take your time when doing scenery. It takes time and a lot of patience but it will be well worth it when you're done. If you get frustrated, walk away and come back to it later. Don't try to be perfect.
Thanks for watching.
Have fun and keep racing!

Hi everyone,
A quick update on the slot car track scenery ...
The other club members and myself are itching to do some racing on the track and can't wait for the scenery to get finished. I've put the track back together but I did manage to get a bit of the lanscaping finished. I will get back to the rest of the scenery in a few weeks but have a lot of other things that need my attention and I need a break from the scenery.
I primarily use Woodland Scenics materials because their system is simple to use and it works for me:

Here is probably the best "How to" video about using Woodland Scenics ground cover materials that was very helpful for me:

I decided to make a custom game board for Games Workshop's "Gorechosen". I wanted something that was three dimensional but still functional.
