Keen Targhee II Mid Review (Keen Hiking Boots)

I was very excited to do a review on these Keen boots, because I really like the way they look! Especially, I love this particular color setting, which is called Raven/Tortoise Shell.

So, because this is our section for Ultimate Survival Gear and Ultimate Survival Boots, the criteria are a bit strict. But, if you are looking to buy these boots specifically for hiking, get them, you will not be disappointed!

These boots are pretty light. Not as light as Salomon GTX, but the difference is barely noticeable.

Here are a little bit on specs:
100% Waterproof Nubuck Leather
Made in the USA or Imported
Rubber sole
Shaft measures approximately 4.5" from arch
Boot opening measures approximately 12.5" around
Low-profile upper with ghillie lacing for comfort and secure fit,This style is running a 1/2 size small. We suggest ordering a 1/2 size larger than your usual size
Easy-on heel pull; Padded tongue and collar
Breathable leather lining.This style is running a 1/2 size small. We suggest ordering a 1/2 size larger than your usual size
Lugged outsole; Contoured heel lock
Weight - 17.4 oz / 493.3 g. Dual density compression molded EVA midsole.

There is one important thing that I mentioned in the beginning of the video. The sizing is not very accurate on these boots. I would recommend getting at least half a size bigger boots than your usual boot size.

Other than that, great boots! What do you guys think? Would I call them the best hiking boots? Well, if Keen fixes the sizing problem, I can definitely say that they would be on the top best hiking boots of 2019 for me. If you found this Keen Targhee boots review useful, please subscribe!
