Givi Monokey V47 Top Case Long Term Review

After three years of ownership I thought it was time to do a complete review of the Givi Monokey V47 top box that I have installed on my BMW R1200RT. This case will fit on a variety of motorcycles because it uses an adapter plate to secure the box to the bike. Kawasaki even OEMs this box with their own nameplate on it. I'll cover the locking system, how to fit two helmets, and other features, as well as explain my experience with this top case. There is a light kit available, although it needs to be integrated with the BMW electrical system. A backrest is another option (see below).
