The 3 Passes Trek from Jiri: A Quick Overview

We started trekking the "Three Passes Treck" from Jiri (10-12 hours bus ride from Kathmandu) on the 5th of May 2018 and flew out of Lukla on the 29th of May just before the Monsoon. Highly recommend doing the loop counter clockwise for best acclimatization and overall appreciation of the sites: Kongma La / Cho La (bring microspikes) / Renjo La. Side trips included Khumjung, Ama Dablam Base Camp, Island Peak Base Camp, Chhukung Ri, EBC, Kala Patthar, Gokyo Ri, Arya & the Bhote Kosi Valley towards Tibet.
