The famous Vietnamese sandwich, aka the banh mi (bánh mì) is a staple food for me. Vietnamese food (Vietnamese cuisine) is immensely diverse and banh mi can be found all throughout Vietnam. The varieties are endless, but the taste is awesome, especially for the cost. I've eat banh mi 100s of times, but today I decided to make my own while camping at Tri An Lake in Dong Nai. I left it simple, BBQ pork marinated in fermented tofu (I think), cucumber, bread, cilantro, mayo, eggs, and caramelized onions.

Bánh Mì Việt Nam hay Vietnamese Sandwich cực kỳ nổi tiếng, và là một món ăn không thể thiếu đối với tôi. Ẩm thực Việt Nam rất phong phú và Bánh mì có thể tìm thấy ở khắp mọi nơi ở Việt Nam. Nói về các loại bánh mì thì đếm không xuể, nhưng loại nào cũng ngon, giá thành lại rẻ - Một món ăn xuất sắc. Tôi đã ăn bánh mì hàng trăm lần, nhưng hôm nay tôi sẽ tự làm bánh mì trong một buổi cắm trại ở Hồ Trị An, Đồng Nai. Tôi làm đơn giản, ướp thịt BBQ với chao, dưa leo, bánh mì, ngò rí, mayo, trứng và hành phi.
