Never expected to find this in my engine! - 36 Hours Of No Maintenance

After pulling the clutch on the Scout, I was surprised to see it was relatively ok. The spring wasn't damaged and the pads looked normal. I would assume a rock got inside the bell and caused the swirl marks on the front of the bell. I was also surprised to find a massive amount of carbon buildup on the piston and head. Some quick work with a wire brush cleaned it up and the Scout was back to 100%.
